SAMF Core
Banking, payments, cards, crypto, compliance and operations — brought together in one institutional platform.
Build on SAMF Core instead of assembling, integrating and maintaining a fragmented financial technology stack.
Platform architecture
SAMF Core brings the core functions required to operate a modern financial business into a unified environment — reducing the need to assemble separate banking, payments, crypto, compliance, CRM and operational systems.
Unified operating layer
SAMF Core provides the software infrastructure and integration framework. Banking, payment, card, KYC/KYB, AML, custody, liquidity and other third-party service providers are selected and integrated as part of each customer deployment unless expressly stated otherwise.
Build strategy
Financial businesses generally build a complete stack internally, assemble multiple vendors and maintain the integrations, or use SAMF Core as the underlying financial infrastructure.
Design, develop and maintain an entire financial technology stack, provider layer and operational environment.
Connect separate banking, payment, card, crypto, compliance and operational systems, then maintain the integrations.
Use existing financial infrastructure as the foundation, then configure, integrate and extend it around your business.
The SAMF Core foundation
Control without vendor lock-in
SAMF Core is available under licensing models designed for institutions that want long-term control over critical financial infrastructure.
Long-term rights without an indefinite software subscription.
Full source-code licensing for customers seeking maximum technical independence.
Deploy within infrastructure controlled by your organisation or appointed infrastructure provider.
Choose the banking, payment, card, KYC/KYB, AML, custody and other external providers appropriate to your deployment.
No mandatory Swiss AMF maintenance contract. Source-code customers may maintain SAMF Core internally or through their chosen development partner.
Perpetual usage rights do not depend upon continually purchasing new major SAMF Core versions.
Maintenance freedom
SAMF Core does not require perpetual-license customers to enter into a mandatory ongoing Swiss AMF maintenance contract. Depending on the licence selected, customers may use Swiss AMF, their internal technology team or an appointed third-party development provider.
No mandatory Swiss AMF maintenance contract.
Perpetual Licence + Full Source Code: maintain SAMF Core internally, appoint your preferred development partner, or engage Swiss AMF separately.
The strongest independent maintenance and modification rights apply to the Full Source Code licence. A perpetual licence without source code does not carry the same development rights.
Swiss AMF updates, support, development work and implementation services are not automatically included and are contracted separately where required.
Perpetual licensing
Perpetual-license customers may continue operating the SAMF Core version they have licensed without being required to purchase or migrate to a new major SAMF Core version merely to preserve their perpetual usage rights.
Continued operation may depend on customer infrastructure, security requirements, regulatory requirements and compatibility with third-party providers, APIs and technologies. New SAMF Core versions, updates and support may be subject to separate commercial terms.
Third-party development freedom
Customers with a Full Source Code licence may allow their employees and appointed third-party developers to access and work on SAMF Core solely for the purpose of developing, maintaining and supporting that customer's licensed SAMF Core deployment.
This does not give the third-party developer any independent right to use, commercialise, sublicense, distribute or retain SAMF Core for unrelated purposes.
Full source code
Not included
Resale, sublicensing, redistribution and third-party BaaS/platform commercialisation require a separately negotiated commercial licence. Source-code access does not transfer ownership of SAMF Core intellectual property.
No penalty for growth.
Perpetual SAMF Core licences include unlimited end customers within the licensed business scope. There is no SAMF Core per-user licensing and no SAMF Core transaction-volume licensing.
Third-party infrastructure, hosting, banking, card, payment, KYC, blockchain, custody, processing and transaction charges may apply separately.
Platform capabilities
SAMF Core combines customer-facing capabilities, financial operations, compliance controls and an API-driven framework for customer-selected providers in one configurable environment.

Perpetual licence value
A perpetual SAMF Core licence gives your company permanent usage rights that remain with the licensed business. Instead of paying indefinitely simply to preserve access, the company invests in a long-term technology right that can remain part of the business—including through a future sale or change of control of the licensed entity, subject to the licence agreement.
The licensed company retains the right to use SAMF Core within the agreed licence scope without needing to renew an annual SAMF Core software subscription.
A perpetual software licence can form part of the company’s intangible technology assets, subject to the applicable accounting framework and accounting treatment.
The licence remains with the licensed legal entity through an ordinary change of ownership, subject to the definitive licence agreement.
Licensing
SAMF Core is not restricted to a single commercial model. Configure the licence around the level of control, deployment scope and technology rights your organisation requires.
