Where we provide a secure client project workspace (for example the crypto token project workspace), we collect and hold the information and documents you submit for the purpose of structuring your matter, preparing your white paper and, where included in your engagement, preparing a Swiss legal opinion. This may include identity and contact details, corporate, ownership and beneficial owner information, project and token structure information, financial and tokenomics data, and any documents you upload such as white papers, business plans, technical papers, corporate records and identification documents. Access is granted through a one-time code sent to your email address; if you select "keep me signed in on this device", a session identifier is stored in your browser's local storage for up to 30 days. Where you submit personal data relating to third parties (such as directors, shareholders or beneficial owners), you confirm that you have a lawful basis to do so and, where required, have informed those individuals. Our legal bases are the performance of, and steps preparatory to, our engagement with you, our legitimate interests in operating and securing the workspace, and compliance with our legal and regulatory obligations, including anti-money laundering record-keeping.
11. Automated Assistance with Human Review
To reduce duplicated effort, documents you upload to the client project workspace may be analysed with the assistance of automated tools in order to suggest pre-filled answers to questionnaire items. Any suggestion is presented to you for acceptance, editing or rejection, and is reviewed by our team before it is used. No decision affecting you is taken solely by automated means, and the automated analysis does not replace professional judgement. Processing takes place under contract with our service providers, who act on our instructions, are bound by confidentiality, and are not permitted to use your data to train their own models. You may ask us to disable automated assistance for your matter and complete the questionnaire manually.
